Stainless Steel 316L Nuts are produced from an austenitic stainless steel alloy containing approximately 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with low carbon content. The molybdenum enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, while low carbon minimizes intergranular corrosion. These nuts typically exhibit tensile strength consistent with 316L fasteners and hardness around 150–190 HB.
